Hi Everyone

Hi Ladies--- We are back from China one week now and the jet lag has finally gone. I feel back to normal again. Ihaven't gotten far on the book but will try to get a move on. Reading is difficult with an active 2 yr old but I will do my best. I am looking forward to the meeting it will be my first night out with the girls since bringing Matthew home. See you soon Kate.

Change to our next meeting

Our next gathering will be Feb 12 instead of Feb 5.  We are reading Lovely Bones and hopefully going to see the movie.  We will be gathering at Marge's in February.  Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season.  We start a new year.  We have many books to read!

Rainy Sunday

I have now added a list of the books we have read and ones we might like to read.  Ladies, please add books to the list.

Next meeting is at Marge's, first Friday night in Febuary.  We are reading Lovely Bones and Marge would like to set up for us to go see the movie together.  That would be fun.

Kate, I am glad you enjoyed it.  It is nice to have a reason to get together on a regular basis.  I am so encited about your travel date.  Can hardly wait to meet your new son.

After the Gathering

The evening was fun.  Firefly Lane really made you stop and think about your friends.  Our relationships with women are so different that with the men in our lives.  You can only really talk to another woman about some things.  Other women really understand where you are coming from, our men often try but they just don't get it.

I am looking forward to our next meeting in February.  Kate and Steve should be back with Matthew by then.  That is so exciting. 

So I have started this blog, now have to keep it up.

I love this idea!

Hi girls! I love this idea, I have finished this book and really enjoyed it. I think I needed the cry! I am looking forward to Friday. What time? Can I bring anything? I have the book for next month all ready to go!

Great Idea

Good job Carol--- I started the book on Sunday and finished it today. Great choice I cried like a baby very few books I have read were able to do that looking forward to Friday Kate.
